Silverthorne, Silverthorne edges near Oakfern
Sila (next day)
Sila had slept wonderful, though, she was a little worried. What if Meave got into trouble? Sila’s fire could fix it, but she wasn’t near the tiny doe. She could close her baby, or worse ..
All day, her family noticed she acted a little strange. It took Sila some time to sneak past the guards and find her way again to where she’d met Meave the day before. Breathing rather heavily, she looked around. “Maeve? Are you here?” The baby was really getting heavy to do this kind of travel. But still... as long as she could, she would. Not immediately finding Meave, Sila took a little bit of a risk, and created a small fire on a lone bush. She’d missed her training yesterday … But she couldn’t burn down too much. “Maeve?” Sila carefully walked passed the bush, wondering if her new friend had gone back to her herd.
Maeve
Maeve’s grumbling didn’t last long as she heard Sila calling for her.
“Over here!” she called surprised that Sila couldn’t see her from wherever she was. She certainly felt large enough to be seen for miles around.
Sila
Sila finally saw the doe between all the green. “Good Afternoon.” Sila looked and sounded relieved to see the doe. “I brought you something.” She took something from under her fox-coat-collar. She carefully place it on the ground, in front of Meave. A necklace, with a Ruby hanging from it. Sila had saved the necklace for a while, but figured Meave might need it more. “It was made to increase the fire inside the Silverthornes. Perhaps this will help keep your demons away - perhaps they will fear the fire?”
Meave
Maeve had never had anyone actually try to actively help her get rid of her spirits. She gently nuzzled it onto her muzzle and then over her head. It was a bit big for her but it wouldn’t get in the way if she needed to leave quickly.
“Thank you so much,” she whispered smiling softly.
Sila
Sila smiled. “I’m glad you enjoy it. “ The golden doe rose her head, and looked at the sun. “Have you eaten yet?”
Meave
“Not yet, I wasn’t quite sure where the rest of the herd would be grazing. Their movements seem to be erratic as of late,” she replied.
Sila
Sila smiled. “Come on then, I know a good place for food!” Sila moved along, heavy with child, showing Meave a good place to eat.
Maeve
Maeve followed closely behind. Last thing she needed was to get lost.
“Sila?” she whispered.
Sila
Sila rose up from the bushes. “Yes? Meave, c'mon, aren’t you hungry?” She smiled with a warming smile at her. “You’ll feel better after some food.”
Maeve
Maeve nodded returning Sila’s smile. “Food sounds lovely.”
